The hardest part about being an expat in the United States... There’s so much to love about life as an expat, especially here in sunny Atlanta. The friends, the community, the lifestyle, and the endless opportunities—it's all incredible! ☀️But no matter how wonderful it is, the distance from family never quite fades. The absence of Grandads, Grannies, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends is always felt.We rely on video calls to stay connected; while they help, they can never replace face-to-face moments.Today, I’m sending love across the Atlantic to my family and holding the people of Florida in my thoughts and prayers as they face Hurricane Milton.Stay safe. 💙

🌅 Morning people, where are you?! 🌅Confession time: I am NOT a natural morning person! But life (and the kids) doesn’t wait! So, I’ve become a planner—every night, I map out three essentials: kids, food, and exercise. 🏋️♀️Back in my sports days, I’d crush it at 7 p.m., but 10 a.m.? It's a total mess! Here’s what my morning looks like (when all goes according to plan!):- Get the kids up, fed, and off to school- Fuel up myself- Work for 45 minutes- Gym time or morning sunshine- Ready to take on the day!For me, yoga or strength training 3x a week is a must to stay sane! How about you? What’s your secret to surviving the mornings? Share your routine below!👇

"Be Mindful of what you choose to fill your brain with!" 🧠This Mental Health Month, I wanted to shine a spotlight on one of the most important things we need to protect—our brains! 🌟 In my latest blog post, I explore how what we consume daily—whether through social media, conversations, or even food—significantly impacts our mental well-being.Remember, we only get one brain, so let’s fill it with things that uplift, educate, and inspire us. 💡 #MentalHealthMonth #BrainHealth #Mindfulness #WellnessJourney #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCare #Leadership #WomenInBusiness #FemaleEntrepreneurs

Sharing “Give to Grow” by Mo Bunnell with my local Business Club.It was a pleasure to bring what I learned from a recent conference I attended, led by the Guru Mo Bunnell, to the Crabapple Business Club. His concept of giving value as much as possible will naturally grow your business. I’m a huge advocate of this in life."It's always your move, and there's always a way to be helpful" - one small but inspiring quote from his book. Mo’s delivery in his book is a powerful reminder, and I highly recommend it.#BusinessGrowth #Leadership #Giving

Anti-Burnout Tip of the Week: Protect Your Energy by Setting Boundaries. In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. 😨 One simple but powerful strategy to prevent burnout is learning to set clear boundaries. It took me a long time to master this! With our busy schedules these days—kids' activities, sports, birthday parties, and, of course, a busy work schedule—it's certainly not always easy to stick to it.BUT - boundaries protect my time, energy, and focus, ensuring I can give my best to my family and, of course, my clients.👉 Take a moment this week to identify one area in your life where a boundary needs to be reinforced.Whether it's in your work, personal life, or social commitments, decide where you can say 'no' and stick to it. Try it this week!

Grateful for my community! 🤩Giving some Sunday gratitude to our little Irish/American community here in Atlanta. It always warms my heart to see the kids growing every week, learning teamwork, winning, loosing, and most important to get up when you are down. We practice Gaelic Football & Hurling every Sunday morning at Sweet Apple Park in Roswell, if you want to join we would love to have you. Fun and Friends - Happy Sunday! 🇮🇪🇺🇸🙏#happysunday #community #teamwork #funandfriends
